The Solar World Cinema Europa Tour 2012!!

For the 3rd year in a row the mobile solar powered cinema will tour through Europe bringing inspiring films to unusual places. In the last 3 years we have set up a strong network of international partners that will host our openair screening on very diverse and beautifull locations.

This year we will travel with a variaty of filmprogrammes taking along the best produce from our local (brabant) ground plus a selection of the newest Go Greener Shorts, selected in collaboration with Go Short Film Festival. In Venice we collaborate again with the Monteverdi youth musicians that will bring old silent movies to life with their live-music.

Collaboration:  2018 Eindhoven|Brabant – Valletta 2018
This year the solar cinema will take the ferry to Malta to present 3 openair screenings in Valletta – Birgu and Gozo. Where in collaboration with short filmfestival Kinemastik we present a special programme: ‘ 2018Eindhoven | Brabant MEETS V.18….as both cities/regions are official Canditate for 2018 Cultural Capital. SWC and Kinemastik joined forces to be able to offer the Maltese public a special programme of short  ducth films from Eindhoven|Brabant, including a  NIAF selection (Dutch Animation Institute) and Maltese short films all mixed together. In this way we hope that our countries/regions will join forces on the way to 2018 creating a new collaboration network.
